A little bit of fluff...

As promised, here is a photo of my completed Jo Sharp Rare Comfort Mohair Singlet which I started and finished over the Easter long weekend.

Completedvest1

A few things to note.

This was a fun knit!  In fact any knit that can be completed so quickly is pretty fun to me.  The photo was taken last Sunday and it was blowing a gale here in Melbourne - but yet wasn't freezing cold or anything.  The vest kept me warm, but not too warm.  I've also worn it to work since the photo was taken and it was perfect in our air conditioned office.

The pattern was taken from Jo Sharp Contemporary Knitting Two

Other useless bits of information, the jeans that I am wearing in the photo are the ones I bought during my Country Road shopping spree.  Very swish! (Or at least I think so).  And did anyone notice the apples on the tree in the background. This is my Mum's backyard and she is very proud of her apple trees.  Fresh apples straight off the tree are pretty yummy...as long as you watch out for worms.

looks fantastic! so cool with those jeans and white shirt.

Verrry nice!

...so in other words:

"How d'you like them apples" ??

Very well done - both you and your Mum :D

beautiful! good work. i love the outfit. a quick bath may very well fix the looseness - give it a try.

yeah! that is exactly how I imagined wearing it....it looks super!

I love the top--it's fantastic, and I like how you layered it...very fun. Apples look good too! Take care.

So pretty! I love the color. Love love love the sweater-over-shirt look. So, was the mohair easy to knit with? What kind of needles did you use, bamboo? Metal? Mohair is so gorgeous, but the simple scarf I knit with it took me a while because I kept losing count of those fuzzy stitches! LOL. Hope you're having a good day and all is well :)

In my absence, I missed the debut of your awesome sweater! What a great design! I love the way it looks on you too--fabulous work, Jacqueline :)

Good work Speedy Gonzales!
I like Catherine's comment.

Tried to post before, but typepad WOULD NOT let me. cheeky.

Anyway, great tank! Beautiful color, looks great with the shirt and jeans!

Very Noice Missus! I have been oogling that design, but not sure my sumo wrestler shoulders could carry it off! Cor blimey, don't you knit quickly!
